The new placement of the original main sink fixtures allows for turning the faucets without busting one's knuckles. There is also enough room for a window sill that's below eye level.

The Cambria quartz composite material is stronger than granite, but far more uniform in composition. It contains no cracks, so drilling the countertops is quicker and more predictable.

After our fifth significant snowstorm in two weeks, I cleared the driveway well enough to finally get the countertops delivered. It is still pretty icey and this will need to be a careful delivery. Those are our tops on the left side of the truck.

Having been disappointed by the shakey standard brackets on earlier dishwasher installations, we added this undercounter board and trim. It's secured with pocket screws.

I finished the plumbing for (left to right) dishwasher, double sinks hot water, sinks cold water and sinks drain. The electrical outlet is for the dishwasher and rechargeable hand vacuum. Final hookups remain.
