The two rectangular return air ducts are installed in the coffered ceiling. The wooden grills will come post-sheetrock.

Aha! An electrical inspector comes by unexpectedly two days later and signs off on the work to date, Cree LED's and all. Apparently the inspectors are backlogged.

We are pretty eager to see the Cree LED lights when finally turned on. These are something new for everyone. I checked w/ the Electrical Inspector beforehand to be sure he will pass these. (No problem.)

The new light housings have been installed above the closets. These are Cree H6 housings for the LR6 LED 'light engines.' Don't call them 'bulbs!'

The electricians were more than generous with the size of the cut outs made for the lights. I would have cut 6-inch diameter circles, like the original one on the right, and aligned the housings from above.
